Japanese Roadster Car

Update: As we well remember in the comments, this would not be the first sports cabriolet for Kia, given that in the mid-1990s the company bought Lotus rights to manufacture and sell the Elan in South Korea. KIA is doing an excellent job distinguishing itself within the Hyundai group as the dynamic brand, but to make its new orientation more than image, needs to genuinely sports cars. The Australian magazine Drive has failed to discuss this point with the Chief Designer Kia Peter Schreyer, who not happy with revolutionizing the image of the firm, says that he would like to see a car cheap, light and rear-wheel drive; in other words, a worthy rival for the Mazda MX-5. It should be noted that Schreyer is confessed and unrepentant fan of the MX-5, and not cut as much at least noting his admiration for the small Japanese Roadster, which as he acknowledges, has a very important weight in the image of Mazda. Taking advantage of the Genesis Coupe is a sporty too serious in comparison with the MX-5, perhaps Schreyer could sell his idea to Kia from the need of having a car affordable and more playful than the Hyundai model. The problem is that today Kia does not seem too interested in adventures of this kind, but who could have imagined five years ago that I would have a car with the porte of the Cadenza?.
