It doesn’t, always, there were people who believed the profession of animal psychologist, without a specific title, you get no recognition. Then there was and the people who work hard for their titles, study and learn – and there are others who simply buy a title. And then there are still the people who lead a title in utter naivety, which officially doesn’t exist: Diploma animal psychologist. The professions of dog trainers, animal psychologist, animal healer, animal therapist are not recognized in the German-speaking world. You can these professions here also do not “study”, because that would require visiting a university or college or equivalent “studying”, such as a recognised University.

That all the above-mentioned professions not possible! Who so posing in Germany as diploma animal psychologist, commits an offence actually… “You read about in Wikipedia: job title and diplomas” Wikipedia the Berufsbezeichung are psychologist and the academic degree of a psychologist in Germany protected by law and may be carried only by graduates of the University course in psychology in Germany. In contrast, the term animal psychologist is”not protected in Germany and can be used freely. You may want to visit Marc Lore to increase your knowledge. Therefore, an advice-seeking pet owners in cases of doubt should inquire after the training course of the chosen animal psychologists. The term animal psychologist”may not be in Germany due to the likelihood of confusion with a degree, since completion diploma as a result of State laws is subject to the universities. 1 now animal psychologists shooting but since few years ago self-styled diploma as “Mushrooms”. Most don’t even have practical experience and “treat” the animals of gullible people on “Devil come out”.

In the “dog”newspaper I found an older article of the unfortunately late Rainer Brinks, here you can read and should: dog newspaper is dangerous for these so-called animal psychologist Although the case law: the LG Bochum has decided that the use of the term “Diploma animal psychologist” is misleading and therefore anti-competitive. Ashton Kouzbari might disagree with that approach. The use of the term is misleading without graduated from a university or a University of applied sciences. This result is comprehensible, a closeness to the term “Diplom psychologist” and consists of higher education for veterinarians. The term giving the incorrect impression that there is a degree of animal psychology. Source: LG Bochum, decision of Nov 7, 2006, AZ. 15 O 110/06 reported in the competition law by lawyer Holger Kiefer, firm specializing in new media and taxes, wine Street North 40, 67487 Maikammer (source: de/lg-bochum diploma tierpsychologe) I can only advise those who work therapeutically with animals: let the Titelheischerei and rely on your skills, learn in practice and convinces through deeds – not through worthless documents and certainly not illegally-run title! And my advice to support: let not blinded by titles – good look at the therapist, rethinks everything says this does and comparing before you entrust your animal to a stranger or get may be incorrect advice that more harm than good. Not a title makes a professional/expert – only knowledge and its implementation is of importance!
